Request deletion from WOW Digitals
Email privacy@wowdigitals.com with the subject Data Deletion Request.
Include enough information for us to locate and verify the records:
- your name and a contact email address;
- the WhatsApp telephone number in international format;
- the relevant business or WhatsApp Business Account name;
- whether you are an administrator, business contact, or message recipient; and
- the categories of information you want deleted.
Protect your account: Never include a Facebook password, Meta App Secret, permanent access token, one-time verification code, or complete database export in a deletion email.
Disconnect through Facebook
You may also remove the application from your Facebook account's business integrations or Apps and Websites settings. Removing the integration stops future authorization but may not automatically delete operational records already stored in this application. Email us using the process above to request deletion of those records.
WhatsApp opt-out
Reply STOP to a WhatsApp marketing message to revoke messaging consent and add the number to suppression. Opting out stops future marketing but is not the same as deleting every historical record. Use the email process above for a broader deletion request.
What happens next
We will acknowledge the request, take reasonable steps to verify identity or authority, locate the relevant information, and confirm the outcome by email. Verified requests are normally completed within 30 days, or within another period required by applicable law.
Information that may be retained
We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary to:
- honor a suppression or opt-out request and avoid messaging the person again;
- maintain security, fraud-prevention, audit, backup, or legal records;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or
- comply with applicable law or a binding authority request.
When retention is necessary, information will be limited and restricted to the applicable purpose.
